A video message from Bishop DiMarzio regarding returning to Mass.

We are pleased to announce that Mary Queen of Heaven Church will re-open for MASS.

• WEEK DAY MASSES START ON
MONDAY, JUNE 29, 2020 AT 8:00 AM

• WEEKEND MASSES START ON JULY 4, 2020 WEEKEND
(SATURDAY, JULY 4TH at 5:00 PM, SUNDAY,
JULY 5TH at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM)

You must wear a mask and you must maintain a distance of 6 feet from the next person.

Church will be open for PERSONAL PRAYER ONLY (No Group Devotion)

We have good news.  You may have heard that the Diocese of Brooklyn is ready to re-open the churches on a limited basis beginning this Tuesday, May 26.  For the time being, Mary Queen of Heaven will be opened for visits and for personal prayer from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, seven days a week.

We are expected to follow the laws of NY State and so we will have to limit people in the church to 10 at any given time. We will have to limit your visit to a maximum of 15 minutes in order to allow everyone to have an opportunity to come and pray before the Blessed Sacrament.

Everyone must wear a mask in church. We ask you to wear gloves if you have them.  Social distancing will be enforced.

Churches are opening gradually, in stages. It will be a while before we begin to celebrate Sunday Mass.  As you know we are not obliged to fulfill the Sunday obligation under these circumstances.

Continue to check this website and our Facebook page (Mary Queen of Heaven Church) for further information about the stages of re-opening.

God bless you.  Stay safe.
